Habitat: Alkaline alluvial soil, nominal moisture/full sun.

Description: Annual, ascending 20-40 cm from taproot. Leaves mostly basas, some couline (alternate). All bipinnate. Inflorescence a spike. Sepals 2, petals 4, bright yellow.
