Habitat: Mostly sunny area in disturbed rich soil at edge of scrub.
Description: Annual with weak spreading stems. Sheaths downy with swollen hairs. Inflorescence with 4-9 unbranched branches to 14 cm long, arranged radially in whorls. Spikelets 3 mm long. First glume minute, scalelike. Second glume 2 mm long.
