Description: Stiffly erect, single stem, to 1+ m tall. Composite head disciform with white florets. Panicle inflorescence. Leaves sessile, alternate, 6-11 cm long, 4-8 mm wide, narrow, lanceolate. Four rows of imbricate phyllaries, scarious.
