Location: W side of Holbrook Rd, 200 m N of Rittiman Rd, San Antonio.

Habitat: In mud of slow flowing, fresh water. Full sun.

Description: Annual to 80+ cm tall. Culms erect, occasionally spreading. Nodes glabrous, slightly swollen. Sheaths glabrous, ligules absent. Blades to 2.5 mm broad, margins minutely serrate. Panicles 10-30 cm long w/spreading, distant branches 2-8 cm long. Spikelets green or purple, echinate w/papilla based hairs.
