Livings, Hal

Hal Living's interest in photography stems from his deep attachment to nature -- both flora and fauna. After moving to the Texas Hill Country, Hal's photographic skills began to expand, encompassing the myriad flowering plants of the Hill Country. While his engineering background allows him to focus on the details of photography, Hal's appreciation of nature leads him to look at each plant as a piece of the greater landscape.

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is committed to developing the premier resource for native plant images in North America through continued growth of the Plant Image Gallery. You can help us achieve our mission ...to increase the sustainable use and conservation of native wildflowers, plants, and landscapes... by becoming a contributor.
