Shot: A flowering plant. Photographer's note: "At the site, leafless stems of Rhododendron atlanticum pop up among the wiregrass, bracken fern, Clethra alnifolia etc. with beautiful, pale-pink blossoms. This area is managed by burning. Flowering stems are often 12-18" tall. It is a small area, 2 acres or so, with 200 stems of Rhododendron atlanticum. Quite a sight!"
