QUESTION:

What month is it time to plant begonias in the Dallas, Texas area?

ANSWER:

Our expertise and focus here at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center are with plants native to North America.  Begonia sp. are cultivars created from plants native to South and Central America, Africa and Asia and as such are not really within our purview. You can check the American Begonia Society Branch Directory to find a contact for the Dallas area Branch who could help you.
