Q. Who is Mr. Smarty Plants?

A: There are those who suspect Wildflower Center volunteers are the culpable and capable culprits. Yet, others think staff members play some, albeit small, role. You can torture us with your plant questions, but we will never reveal the Green Guru's secret identity.

Answered by: Sage Kawecki

QUESTION:

Does the Wildflower Center sell plants?

ANSWER:

The Wildflower Center supports two gardening festivals - one in the Spring and Fall. The plants we sell are native to central Texas and are perfect for Austin-style gardens. Be sure to check our Wildflower Center Events Calendar listing for upcoming dates and other programming events.
