Abstract

Investigates the chemical activity of the fire-sensitive species Conradina canescens, endemic to the Florida scrub. Bioassays of foliar washes of C. canescens inhibited growth and germination of some fire-prone sandhill grasses, including Schizachyrium scoparium).
