Location: 200 E of guardgate on S Oakwell Farms Pky & 10 m S of the Pky--Oakwell Farms, San Antonio.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Moist, shady, alkaline, alluvial soil at foot of a wooded hill. Numerous and scattered.

Description: Shrub, to 2 m tall. Branches rigid, ascending & spreading. Leaves trifoliate. Leaflets sessile at apex of petiole, gray-green, glaucous, 3-7 lobed/toothed (these & tip spinescent). Fruits globose, red, 8-10 mm dia, acidulous. Seed reddish-brown, 3-4 mm long.
