Habitat: Full sun on western facing hillside. Dry, stoney soil.

Description: Erect perennial from a woody root, 45 cm tall. Leaves thin, lanceolate, dentate, petiolate. Infloresence a terminal spike with all staminate flowers above the pistillate, all on the same spike.
