QUESTION:

What kind of fruit tree will grow fast and be pretty in Northeast Texas?

ANSWER:

Attractive, fruit-bearing trees native to northeast Texas include Black cherry (Prunus serotina), Pawpaw (Asimina triloba), and Southern Crabapple (Malus angustifolia). All are reasonably fast-growing trees.
