Associate Program
Belong to Wildflower Center Associate ProgramDescription: Theodore Payne Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to California native plants. Our retail nursery, book and seed store, and education center are open to the public year round. Our mission is to promote, preserve and restore California native landscapes and habitats; propagate and make available native plants and wildflowers; and educate and acquire knowledge about California flora and natural history. Membership starts at $30 per year and entitles members to a 10% discount on plants (1-gallon containers and up) and 15% during seasonal sales. TPF Members also receive our quarterly newsletter, discounts on classes, invitations to special trips and events, and a tax deduction as allowed by law. At any given time, our nursery inventory (posted online at theodorepayne.org) offers 400-500 species and cultivars of California native plants, and seed for 200 different wildflowers and plants. We offer classes and workshops for adults, and field trips for children (K-12), as well as a speakers bureau. We're located in a serene, 22-acre natural canyon setting just minutes from the hustle-bustle of the city. During fall, winter and spring we're open Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 to 4:30. Over the summer, we can be visited Thursday-Saturday, 8:30 to 4:30.
Credentials: Nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization, licensed retail nursery.
