Facility Rental Manager
Monica joined the Wildflower Center in June 2016. She has a passion for the wedding and special event industry and gets to do what she loves every day by working with couples to find their dream wedding venue.
Monica holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management with an emphasis in event planning from the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College. Prior to moving to Austin, Monica worked for Houston’s premier wedding venue and was the wedding and event coordinator for over 75 weddings per year. She has over 7 years of experience in venue rental sales, event planning and design, catering, menu planning and vendor management.
