Liz Brewer

Liz Brewer

Horticulturist

Liz joined the Wildflower Center in 2012. Working with lots of dedicated volunteers, she manages part of the Central Gardens, including the Woodland Garden and the Hill Country Stream.

Prior to joining the Wildflower Center, she spent a year at Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories as an intern, followed by work at a couple of companies in Austin that specialized in large tree relocation. She also spent a period as horticulturist at a golf and country club.

Liz has a bachelor’s in agricultural science from the University of Nottingham, and an HND (higher national diploma) in arboriculture from the University of Central Lancashire.
