Lindsay joined the Wildflower Center in 2019 as part of the Guest Experience Department. Prior to joining the Center, she was as an archaeologist at Hicks & Company, where she focused on curating ancestral Caddo ceramics.

Other experience includes teaching English to high school students and special needs students of all ages in Yamaguchi, Japan, where Lindsay lived and worked for two years. While abroad, she traveled extensively around Asia, including South Korea, Cambodia and Vietnam. Lindsay also worked at the Blanton Museum of Art for five years, both during college and after graduation.

Lindsay is a native Austinite and outdoor enthusiast with two bachelor’s degrees, one in classical archaeology and the other in ancient history and classical civilizations — both from The University of Texas at Austin. She loves hiking, camping, traveling and spending free time reading under oak trees.
