Cecille’s Arch

Cecille’s Arch, a simple and stunning piece of limestone architecture, serves as a portal to the serene Savanna Meadow. Nestled among magnificent live oak trees and framed by a lush circle of beautyberry, lantana and honeysuckle, the arch is a peaceful place to pause and reflect.

Also called the “Wedding Arch,” it is a beautiful spot for an intimate outdoor gathering as couples to join hands and begin their journey together. In fact, it was named for Cecille Harrison Marshall, who was Lady Bird Johnson’s close friend and maid of honor in her very small wedding.
