Perennial gray-green, woolly herb growing 2-3 ft. high with opposite ovate leaves on a short pedicel. Infloresecence is terminal or at nodes. Corolla is reflexed and pink, purple or maroon. Hoods surrounding anthers not elevated above corolla base. Fruit is a narrow pod containing many silky seeds. Occurs in northern Southwestern California Region and the Desert Province.
