As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Native Plant Focus: We are a member of the Center for Plant Conservation, responsible for Great Plain flora; encourage native plant conservation; involved in introduction and testing of woody horticultural species.

Description: the NSA is an environmental organization which coordinates 44 affiliated arboreta accross the state. It also has 650 individual and corporate members and is active in funding comunity beautification projects.
