Native Plant Focus: We provide free plant identifications to the public; mailed specimens or good digital photographs are acceptable. We are currently actively involved in documenting the spread of new, invasive weedy species. Additionally, we feature an important collection of rare and threatened species from South Carolina.
Description: The Herbarium's collection specializes in the flora of SC and the southeast, although the collection includes many specimens from the rest of North America, Eastern Asia, and Europe as well.
