Abstract
Reports on the observation of a pathogen, identified as Plasmopara halstedii, on Rudbeckia hirta cv. Goldsturm at a commercial nursery in Virginia Beach, VA. The disease resulted in loss of marketability of the plants effected. This pathogen attacks a number of plants in the genera of Centaurea, Coreopsis, Erigeron, Helianthus, and Verbena in addition to Rudbeckia species.Suggested Citation
