Abstract

Investigates releasing sterile insects of the invasive cactus moth, Cactoblastis cactorum, to reduce the spread of this insect. The authors conclude that an overflooding ratio of 5:1 can suppress the cactus moth and that releasing both genders together is recommended over releasing only males.
