Abstract
Evaluates the effects of two plant growth regulators on 'Torch Flame' blanketflower (Gaillardia pulchella) and a native ecotype of G. pulchella. The purpose of the plant growth regulators was to reduce the size of stems and of the plant for production. The native ecotype did not respond to plant growth regulators. However, the cultivar was more compact when sprayed with ethephon, although this caused a delay in flowering.Suggested Citation
