Abstract
Assesses the genetic diversity among natural, production, and introduced populations of Coreopsis leavenworthii using amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) markers. A high level of diversity and a moderate level of genetic differentiation was detected among six natural populations-two each from northern, central, and southern Florida. The differences in genetic diversity among natural populations suggests the need to develop appropriate seed transfer zones within Florida.Suggested Citation
