Abstract

Summarizes the taxonomic revision of the genus Silphium (in the Asteraceae. New combinations include: Silphium asteriscus var. simpsonii, S. asteriscus var. trifoliatum, and S. asteriscus var. latifolium. In addition, Silphium confertifolium Small is reduced to synonymy of Silphium asteriscus var. latifolium.
