Abstract
Reports on a new pathogen on Helianthus debilis growing in a demonstration garden in Broward County, Florida. Symptoms of the disease included stunting, shoot proliferation, apical bunches of small, yellowed leaves and floral abnormalities. DNA analyses indicated the pathogen as a 'Candidatus Phytoplasma asteris'-related strain.Suggested Citation
