Abstract
Examines the effects of phloem-feeding aphids on the defenses and growth of four Asclepias species, including A. incarnata and A. tuberosa. Aphids had no effect on the defensive chemistry (levels of cardenolides) of A. tuberosa or A. incarnata. Aphids caused reductions in biomass accumulation of A. incarnata but not A. tuberosa.Suggested Citation
