Abstract

The roots of 19 species in the Apocynaceae were studied to determine symbiotic relationships with mycorrhizal fungi. The anatomy and methods of mycorrhizal colonization are discussed. Details about the anatomy of mycorrhizal symbiosis in Amsonia tabernaemontana are included.
