Abstract

Evaluates different ecotypes of Trifolium reflexum for its performance as a landscape and forage plant in Florida. Flowering time, seed yield, and seed weight varied among accessions but flower color, leaf mark and seed weight appear to be genetically controlled with little influence due to environmental conditions. This study indicates that T. reflexum may have potential for use as an attractive native wildflower species for meadows, roadsides and public land management areas.
