Abstract
Five species of Ardisia, including escallonioides, were examined for self-compatibility, agamospermy (asexual seed formation), and autogamy (self-pollination). All five species were self-compatible but not agamospermous. This could have implications for propagating this species or using it in restoration.Suggested Citation
