Online Nature Play and Explore

Pre-K

Our online guided nature program provides pre-K students with fun experiences learning about plants, wildlife and ecology while exploring the gardens. Each program consists a story and a guided nature walk. There will be instructions for an activity that can be done in the classroom or at home when the session is over.

Available: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. or 1 p.m.
Duration: 35 to 40 minutes
Group size: Five to 16 students, two teachers
Cost: $40 per session*

*Title 1 schools receive an $8 discount per session.

Program Delivery Mode: Zoom online conferencing platform, co-hosted by teacher

Teachers are encouraged to complete a 10 to 15 minute technology setup session one to two weeks prior to the session to troubleshoot unforeseen connectivity issues. Teachers must be in attendance (in person or remotely) throughout the session.

Policies

Cancellation and No-show Policy

Cancellations should be made no less than ten business days before the reserved date to avoid the $30 cancellation fee. Groups that do not show up for the reserved date will be assessed a $30 no-show fee. Fee must be paid within 30 days of cancellation or no-show date.

Rescheduling

If you must reschedule or make changes, please contact us as soon as possible and preferably no later than 10 business days before your scheduled visit. Trips canceled due to weather can be rescheduled depending upon available dates.
