Habitat: On dry limestone, in sun and shade.
Description: Stout, heavy vine with tight-barked stems to 10 m long from tuberous root. Leaves trifoliate and fleshy; tendrils have no adhesive pads; inflorescence umbelliform cyme, 4-merous, yellow. Fruit a berry, black when mature.
