Habitat: Steep, E facing caliche slope. Small colony.
Description: Erect, multi-stalked annual, to 35 cm tall. Leaves ovate-elliptic, 15 x 50 mm, acute at apex, opposite, sessile, clasping. Infloresence terminal (1 or more), long peduncled & pediceled. Sepals about 2 cm, subulate. Corolla funnelform, lobes 3x length of tube, to 3 cm long. Pale axially, bluish distally. Capsule to 2 cm long. Seeds many.
