Habitat: Dry, sunny, caliche, roadside slope. Several colonies among Poaceae.
Description: Erect annual, 20 cm tall. Single stalked, but w/many ascending branches from mid-height. Leaves alternate, dissected into 7+ filiform segments. Involucre turbinate-campanulate, margins of outer phyllaries united up to short deltoid tips. Disk florets-50+, yelow-orange; rays 10-21, golden yellow to yellow-orange, 4-10 mm long.
