Habitat: Half-day sun; damp, alkaline, alluvial soil. Among Poaceae. Few, scattered.

Description: Erect annual, 30 cm tall, single stalk. Dichotomously branched in upper forth. Stems light green, striate. Leaves opposite, sessil, spatulate to oblanceolate, 2.5 cm long x 8 mm wide, reduced above. Flowers small, white, cymose-clustered.
