Habitat: Stoney/gravelly roadside right-of-way in full sun.

Description: Low, semi-protrate to erect, 5-17.5 cm high; vestiture scragily, perhaps arachnoid, some hairs branched, fairly sparse, not glandular; corolla 15 mm dia; leaf margins are undulate when fresh and weakly serrate, flower bud densely malpighiaceous.
