Habitat: Climbing/twining in shade of shrubs & small trees.

Description: Stout, unarmed, woody vine. Exstipulate. Leaves cordate, dark-green above, lighter & downy beneath, 5x5 cm overall, emarginate. Flowers not present. Fruit a fleshy, red drupe, ovoid, 5 mm dia, drying black, one-seeded. Seed brown, rough, flattened, crescent shaped.
