Habitat: Full sun. Level, dry alkaline, alluvial soil. Many colonies in area.

Description: Annual, to 4 dm tall, branched near top, erect, single stalk. Leaves opposite, ovate, acute apically and attentuate basally, dentate. Petioles to 20 mm. Involucres terminal.
