Habitat: Many, scattered. Full sun; dry, thin, rocky, calcerous soil.

Description: Prostrate, trailing perennial, twining at tips, much branched, to 1+ m. Leaves alternate, trifoliate. Petioles 2-4 cm; terminal leaflet w/rachi 3-5 mm long, 2x3 cm, elliptic to ovate-lanceolate; laterals similar but smaller. Infloresence 1-few in axillary peduncle to 3+ cm long. Corolla papiliform, light violet. Fruit a legume, 2-4 seeded, straight, aerial, 4 mm x 2 cm, dihescing spirally. Seed 2x2.5x3 mm. Mottled dark brown w/white hylum.
