Location: Medina River Ranch, Gate 9, 50 m West of Medina River & 200 m inside gate.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Among taller trees/shorter shrubs in alkaline, alluvial soil. Semi-shade.

Description: Stout tree, 5-6 m tall. Branchlets red-brown. Leaves: petioles to 1 cm, ovate-lanceolate, abruptly acuminate, to 4x7 cm, scabrous above, pilose beneath w/spreading hairs. Cymes rounded, pubescent, to 5 cm tall & broad. Flowers not seen. Fruit white, drying black, globose, 3-4 mm dia.
