Location: Medina River Ranch, Gate 9, 400 m N of the Gate.

Habitat: Semi-shaded river bank. Moist, loose, alluvial soil.

Description: Erect shrub, 55 cm tall. Leaves lanceolate, widest about 1/3 from base, more than twice as long as broad, acute apically, rounded basally, entire (or minutely serrate). No glands on leaf, stellate-tomentose beneath, less so above. Petioles exceed 1/2 length of leaf. Styles once dichotomously cleft, =6 ultimate stigmatic ends. Capsule subglobose, 5 mm long, 3-seeded.
