Habitat: Open, level, grassy area w/many other herbaceous species. This one in many extensive colonies.

Description: Erect, much branched annual to 40+ cm tall. Taproot short. Leaves alternate, strictly linear, to 8 cm long. Heads numerous, terminal. Disk & ray flowers yellow. Plant odoriferous/bitter. Rays 13-14, blunt, 3-toothed.
