Habitat: Adventive in crack in concrete curb. Very little moisture. Full sun.

Description: Erect herbaceous perennial, to 60 cm, branched above. Leaves alternate, petiolate (1-1.5 cm), ovate-lanceolate, variously toothed or lobed. Infloresence bracteate, 5-merous. Corolla opens late afternoon. Petals light yellow; stamens many, exerted. Fruit a cylindrical capsule to 30+ mm long.
