Habitat: Roadside. Caliche. Very dry. Full sun. Harsh environment.

Description: Low bushy perennial to 25 cm tall with yellow 12 mm flowers along upper stems. Striking plant with its grey-green foliage and somewhat gnarled stems. Fruit a globular silique. When the scales of the pods drop off, a thin transparent disk remains.
