Habitat: Gravelly; full sun; limestone. Single plants.
Description: Medium sized woody shrub. Deciduous. Small white flowers in umbeis at tips of stems. Stems reddish. Simple leaves appear to have brown grains of sand along dentate margins. Somewhat showy.
