Habitat: Under Juniperus & Quercus in black leaf litter.
Description: Erect annual (28 cm) from stout taproot, few branches. Strigose, pedicels to 5 mm long matured, reflexed. Leaves oblanceolate/ovate, alternate, prominent midvein & perceptable pinnate veins, sessile or nearly so, rounded & sometimes slightly retuse apically. Cymes scorpoid to 18 cm, loosely flowered w/foliacious bracts. Calyx herbaceous, linear, 5 mm long at maturity. Corolla white, gamopetalous, 5 lobed, mericarps 2, tan, shiny, punctate, 2.5 mm long.
