Habitat: In caliche, on rocky hillside. In full sun.

Description: Lower stalk 4-sided. Perennial from thick taproot. Stipules 1-3 mm long. Pinnae in 3-4 pairs. Leaflets 4-8 pair/pinnae, smooth beneath, 2x6 mm. Fruiting peduncles to 5.5 cm. Flowers: pink globular heads about 1 cm wide.
