Habitat: Full sun. Dry, alkaline slope.

Description: Slender, taprooted annual, 70 cm tall. Single stalk, few branches above. Leaves opposite, obovate, narrowed on both ends, sessile, bright green. Heads solitary on 3-4 cm peduncles. Ray flowers yellow, mostly 5, pistillate, fertile.
