Habitat: Full sun. Common--dense populations. Alkaline, alluvial soil.
Description: Taprooted annual to 55 cm tall, erect, much branched, 4-angled & striate. Most leaves variously pinnate, peduncled, the distal lobe largest. Infloresence solitary, terminal, on 18 cm naked peduncle. Outer phyllaries linear, green, as long as brown inner ones.
