Habitat: Full sun, nominal moisture; alkaline, alluvial soil.

Description: Several ascending stalks from woody base; about 40 cm tall. Well branched above. Slightly hirsute.Leaves sessile, or nearly so; deeply incised, bi/tri-pennate. Infloresence a spike, terminal. Flowers purplish, bilabiate. Tube 10+ mm; limbs 8 mm.
